I am surprised how people submitted good reviews with 4+ stars. Today, the worst experience ever(I was a 8+ years customer of the place, NOT ANYMORE). Ordered several entrees, all food is amazingly and shockingly salty that I assume their kitchen crew are all died by some accident just today, and the owner had to cook oneself. The foods? I did TRASH everything, and I cannot feel my tongue...think my tongue is pickled. Or, they might have put some benzene inside the food, quite surely and seriously. However, I didn’t appeal to the restaurant because it’s not worth it. Just no more of this restaurant for the rest of my life. Perhaps, this restaurant can change of services and quality. BUT I will never be their customer.
So fresh, homey, and delicious! Delicate broths and yummy dumplings and noodles; wonderful service.
Nicest people ever and the food was great
Really big menu which can be a bad sign sometimes, but everything we ordered was pretty good. Got tteokbokki, mooguk (radish soup) and tempura. All pretty tasty. Made to order, fresh Korean grandmother cooking.
lots of choices. very delicious
I really like the Spicy chicken stew. When I ordered online for delivery last few times it was just too spicy. So, I went there today with my family and asked if they can make it very little spicy. First they said that it was already marinated, but to my surprise, agreed to make it less spicy. It came out just perrrfect, exactly as I wanted!!! I really appreciate that Julie (nice elder sister) listened to our special request. Also, she made sure that I can order the same thing over the phone in the future.
Food is ok. Manager's attitude 👎
nice service they got free sushi sometimes
Some delicious food very friendly
The new guy serving food is completely insane - yelled at us to get out for no reason and it's not 24/7 as they claim. Been here 3 times before - never had any issues until the last time
Soo good
Amazing. Always so nice and food is consistently great
Pretty decent ayce kbbq in CA but the service is kind of hit or miss. There's typically little to no wait because they have a good size space.
Decided to deviate from my usual spot, NakWon and venture here. Food was good I'd eat here again.
bland
absolutely disrespectful owner. needs to learn how to work uber eats and other delivery people.
Just okay
Very reasonably priced. A perfect late night spot after karaoke. Try the ramen and kimbap.
We were visiting LA and ordered from NamSan. The food was DELICIOUS! We had the spicy braised pork ribs and the rice porridge with pine nuts. Omg! I was actually dancing as I ate. The food was so good, the portions were huge, we actually ate the rest for breakfast. I highly recommend this restaurant
Fantastic food. Amazing service. Will definitely be back!
just meh
I ordered dokbokie & tempura combo and steamed dumplings. It tastes like nothing. No flavor at all. Sucks, never again.
new person working there is out of contol
I always order food from Namsan through Doordash.Very nice
definitely a go-to place for me when im craving korean food
Went with my friends. We tried the chicken bulgoji. It's a very good place. They usually aren't packed. The staff is very friendly and it helps if you say thank you or delicious in korean. The only improvement would be the bathroom. It could be cleaned better. But other than that the food was amazing.
Our group of 8 people went to this restaurant after we finished hiking on Saturday afternoon. The table was promptly set up and food we ordered was served in 6-7 minutes. The server named Julie was kind and polite. A male server quickly checked the restroom before my wife was entering. (I suppose they don't do that all time, but I was impressed.)We ordered Chiken ginsang Soup, Dumpling Soup, Tofu Stew, etc. All of them tasted good and very generous in portion. One of our guys, who was allergic to MSG did not taste any MSG in his Tofu Stew.Only disappointment was that they did not sell beer or soju.
I had a spicy beef stew there 2:30 am. Surprised by the crowd in the restaurant. Food was great, price was reasonable, the elderly waitress was so sweet that I couldn't resist a hug when I was leaving.
They have the best boneless chicken! Must get the extra spicy boneless chicken and the honey rice cake chicken. The rice cake is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, then coated with a honey glaze. Mmmmm.
absolutely the rudest!
This place is ok. I got the rice cake soup with dumplings and Kim chi fried rice. They were both good. My sister got the vegetable and noodle soup. It was just ok. My soup was better. I win.
Good fast and friendly
Love this place. Good food at a good price. Their kimchi friend rice is great, and I actually like their tofu soup better than BCD's. Everything I've had comes with bottomless banchan (side dishes) and complimentary gimbap (like a Korean sushi roll).
Order by postmates seems generous and delicious. And after trying it i can say its amazing and i ordered late at night. Totally trying next the short rib stew ðŸ˜.Update: the soft tofu soup was amazing (if you cant have spicy let them know) and the short rib stew was amazing. I think i should go there to eat more amazing dishes since delivery takes a while ðŸ˜.
Vera tasteless food. Also not clean and rude service.
Really bad service. They might re-use the side dishes. Never go there!
Great food and fast delivery!!
Extremely rude owner!
good late night snack with the homies
The lady who served us was super sweet and attentive and the food was quick and delicious!
I love the thukboki, kimmari, and o deng tang combo~ open really late
We LOVE namsan. The food is always delicious and the staff is so kind. The kimchi chigae (stew) reminds me of my moms â¤ï¸
Great taste, reasonable price, and friendly service.
It's hard to find restaurants that make food well. This restaurant uses just the right amount of seasoning and spice, never overloaded with harsh red pepper flakes and sodium/MSG. I never taste MSG, but the flavor is great from good cooking skills. They know how to cook delicious, authentic Korean food. One of my favorites is buguhgook, which is the dried pollack, mild and delicious, made with eggs and green onions. I always feel like I got a good eat since the side dishes are consistently delicious and with quality ingredients. Service is fast and friendly. I also get delivery within 20 minutes for hot soup. They have all day specials for 6.95 and if you go in the mornings and early afternoons, you get a complementary kimbab roll with banchan. They also have tempura, which looks so good (yet to try).
I love Korean food.
first time trying them out. Food was decent. I recommend the duttpoki and Radish soup, quite good . Only critique abou the place might be that the menu was a bit overwhelming, seems like they try to offer TOO much , I had the thought they might just focus on their best dishes, narrow stuff down . They cater mainly toward delivery so when we ate there , we were literally the only customers there, which wasnt a bad thing in itself, but the atmosphere is naturally kind of , EH~ Also, dont get the Tempura, the breading is sub par.
Brings me back to my childhood and mom's home cooking! (Rest in Peace, eomma!)
Tastey beef soup, gimbop, and tteokkboki!
The owner should learn how to check his attitude before coming in to work...
Food are so delicious and always deliverd on time. And FREE delivery!!!
